Have a pleasant day trip in the beautiful surroundings of Chočské vrchy or excellent cross-country training? Everything depends on your goal!

Park your car and start in front of the school at Kvačany village. Go over the bridge and follow blue cycling route to Prosiek village, where short climb take you to road to Liptovská Anna. Take direction Malatiná in Bukovina village and start climb up. Turn right into forest road just below Malatiná village. Forest road continues climb in pleasant serpentines to Martinská Roveň. Get out of the road at that point and go through the meadow to connect to red cycling route on the ridge of Chočské Vrchy. Follow red route and pass Veľké Borové and Malé Borové villages soon. Continue by asphalt road down to the parking lot in front of entrance to Kvačianska valley. Lower (right) path along side the brook brings you to Oblazy. Return by the same path after visit of Oblazy and then connect to upper (left) path going through Kvačianska Valley back to Kvačany.

Ruins of Liptov Castle, which is the highest castle in Central Europe, has a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and whole Liptov's valley.

Experience gorgeous sceneries of Liptovská Mara and Nízke Tatry mountains above Ižipovce villige. Don't be afraid of walking a little bit off road into grassy veldt. Find old wooden cottage ruin on Martinská Roveň, which has been shown in a few movies. Climb up the lookout point in Veľké Borové. Enjoy view to gorges of Kvačianska valley from outlook platforms. These sceneries are worth to stop and just breathe beatiful nature. If you're a fan of technical sights, you have to stop at the Oblazy Water Mills.

The need for a reservation is ideal for those who are more shy, meaning you will only be there alone or with family or friends.
