Landmarks Between Liptov and Orava Counties

A pleasant trip that gives you great views of Orava and Liptov.

Start from Bešeňová Aquapark, take direction to Liptovská Teplá village by asphalt road. Keep right on the main cross-road and follow cycling route signs which get you to Lúčky Spa. Continue climbing by good quality asphalt road following fast downhill to village Osádka. Take direction to Malatina village with another climb offering wonderful sceneries to Orava region. Continue by green cycling route down to Bukovina village and follow direction to Bobrovník and to the dam wall of Liptovská Mara. Cross the barrier and reach the village of Vlachy just bellow the dam. Go over the bridge and continue by the road which leads you alongside the Bešeňová water reservoir to the village of Potok and then back to Bešeňová. This route is recommended for moutain and trekking bicycles too.
