Healing Mineral Springs in Stankovany

The Spa Spring. The spring is located northwest of the village, in a large wetland meadow under a forest road near three boreholes that were made in 1975. It is a sulphuro-carbon mineral and thermal spring with beneficial effects for the treatment of skin diseases, for support of the motion and digestive system (especially in gastric and intestinal diseases), as well as supplementing calcium supplies and accelerating peristalsis. Mineral Spring Below the Forest Only 2km walking to west direction from village along the forest path find another healing spring. It is located in the place where the road crosses creek.Water flows through the metal pipe directly onto the road and then directly into the creek. It's clear, smells a little bit by hydrogen sulfide, tastes acidulous. It makes yellow sulfur sediment at the drain. Many tourists and also local people like to drink it. Sulfur Spring Sulfur Spring is located near the railway line about 1 km from the village of Stankovany direction to west. Access is good you can reach it by comfortable forest path below forest. Spring is captured into a concrete tank with metal doors. The water flows through a metal tube, it is clear, smells a little bit by hydrogen sulfide. Taste is of excellent, acidulous. It makes a yellow-white sulfur sediment in the drain. People like to stop and refresh here.
