Hučiaky

Hučiaky is a beautiful gorge, similar to the ravines of National Park Slovenský raj. It has one big advantage: no technical aids are used here, so everyone can beat it.

Name Hučiaky probably says nothing to all. And that's pity. It is a beautiful wild clough definitely worth to visit. It is located below the Salatín Hill in the Low Tatras. There is a small stream in gorge which is very descreet in some parts but also quite noisy in different places. His noise is often the only sound that tourist can hear. See high rock reefs, sometimes interestingly shaped, as well as numerous small caves often situated directly on the path. If you go there in July, don't forget to use some repellent sprays against gadflies.
