River Lúžnianka Meanders

The Lúžňanka river naturally turns and individual meanders approaching even a distance of only a few dozen centimeters.

This interesting natural phenomenon is located above the upper edge of Liptovská Lúžna village, crouching at the foot of the Low Tatras. Mountain stream Lúžňanka flows here so slow that it sometimes looks like it is flowing opposite way. This interesting natural show was declared as a protected natural area. It is easily accessible even though the official tourist trail does not lead here. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Veľká Fatra mountains there .
